Chelsea VS Manchester City Free Tips

Édouard Mendy has missed Chelsea's last two matches but Thomas Tuchel is confident he will be available to face Manchester City on Saturday. The fact N'Golo Kante started against Aston Villa in midweek makes it unlikely he will start again here. There is no chance Saul Niguez starts after yet another unimpressive display against Aston Villa. Reece James was terrific in midweek but may have to settle for a place on the bench. Manchester City have three away games in a row against Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool so it will interesting to see how Pep Guardiola manages his squad. The City boss is already sweating on the fitness of key players like Aymeric Laporte, John Stones, Rodri and Ilkay Gundogan. Nathan Ake is on standby to continue in defence if neither Stones nor Laporte recover in time for Saturday's early kick-off. Given City's upcoming matches, it is a surprise Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne played 90 minutes against Wycombe in midweek despite the need to get minutes in them. It wouldn't be a complete shock if one started on the bench against Chelsea, with Bernardo Silva on standby to start if required. Riyad Mahrez may find himself on the bench despite also recording a perfect WhoScored 10 rating against Wycombe. Ferran Torres and Raheem Sterling appear to be vying to start through the middle for City at the moment, though the former may win out here.
